Dots Per Inch
With the infectious sound of Deep House providing the canvas, Dave Curtis began to splash his identity on this nu-wave of UK Underground House scene in 2013 with a unique colour-wheel of House & Garage influenced sounds, receiving radio play from the likes of Nick Bright, Majestic, The Wideboys & DJ Pioneer.
The South Coast producer first found his love for music in the burning embers of the UK Garage scene in 2003, cutting his teeth a couple of years later with stints on various radio stations and residencies at name-brand club nights. As a DJ he continued to excel going onto to hold residencies in some of the South Coast's premier nightclubs.
Fast forward to the present day and Dave also a Graphic Design enthusiast began to find his sound. Favouring not only the BPM-shift that Deep House introduced but the organic tone that replaced Dubstep, “Dots Per Inch was born”. A string of dance floor ready remixes followed with Dots charting several times in the DJCity record pool top 15 downloads.
These bootlegs prompted German label Tiefblau Records to sign Dots' debut EP., having heard original track “Baby” on a supporting Youtube channel. The EP received positive feed back from the names such as Tensnake and Vanilla Ace.
Currently locked away in the studio working on original material and remix work, keep an eye out for Dots Per Inch this year.
